About me

Hello, my name is Mimi-Jo Robshaw. I have been in the industry for 5 years now and started by training in classic lashes at a little studio in my hometown. I then went onto train with Nouveau Lashes; their courses were in-depth and taught me all my core knowledge around lash extensions and LVL lashes. 

I now specialise in Classic, Volume, Hybrid, Bespoke and LVL lashes. I work full time from a beautiful, modern salon based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

I love being part of the industry because it has allowed me to create a space for my clients to come and completely switch off and relax whilst having them leave feeling their best self. There is no better feeling than brightening someone’s day and making them feel incredible about themselves. I also love the industry because it has given me so many amazing opportunities for me and my business like being a Visionary for Nouveau Lashes and a Brand Ambassador for Navy Professional. 

In my spare time I like to visit new places and countries. I love exploring and trying new foods and finding beautiful beaches. I also enjoy life’s little luxuries like getting an iced coffee and walking my dog Cici or meeting my friends for a cuppa and a catch up. I can’t wait to meet my students as I am so excited to show and give them all the knowledge and techniques I have learnt over my time in the industry. 

My top treatment tip

My top tip for lash extensions would be to find the right adhesive for you and your environment. One adhesive won’t suit all, and it has taken me time, trial and error to find the perfect one for me.
