About me

Hi, I'm Emma and I work at the Bristol Academy. After leaving school I went to study Law and Psychology but soon realised it wasn’t for me. I’ve always had a passion for beauty so I started a beauty course in 2006 and knew I'd found the career for me.   The first place I worked was Champneys Day Spa in Bath. After having my first baby in December 2007, I became self-employed. I went on to have two more children and continued my beauty business whilst bringing up my children. 

In 2011, I completed my HD Brows training and went on to qualify in LVL in 2012. This took my beauty business to the next level and lashes and brows became the main part of my business. Now, I have a home salon and rent a room within a busy salon near to my home where I love the salon environment.  I became a trainer for Nouveau Lashes in 2021 and went on to become an HD trainer in 2022. I love seeing my students come in with a passion for the industry and watching them absorb a new skill.  

With three children I am always busy! As a family we have a passion for sports and I love watching my kids play football and enjoy our family time together. We also have a little chihuahua called Biggie! 

My top treatment tip

Invest in a good set of tweezers for your lash extensions, they really do make all the difference!  

When doing an HD BrowSculpt treatment, always mix a bit of the HD Brows Brow Dye Diluter with your tint to slow down processing time and get better colour control.
