The Inverness Ear Piercing Training Course will teach you how to safely pierce both ear lobes and cartilage using the Inverness Ear Piercing System. You will complete your online theory training from the comfort of home before attending a practical training day at the Nouveau Beauty academy in West Yorkshire where you will pierce your models under the direction of a trainer.

- This course is suitable for beginners
- No prerequisites
Online learning
- Training begins with online modules that can be completed in your own time
- You will receive a confirmation email from NouAcademy detailing your log in details for the online learning portal
- It is recommended that you use a laptop, desktop computer or tablet to complete the online course
- All online modules must be completed prior to practical training
In-person training
- Practical training is carried out the Nouveau Beauty academy in South Elmsall, West Yorkshire
- You must provide your own model for practical training
- You must bring your kit(s) to your in-class training
- You will run through the theory you have learned and go over techniques before conducting the piercing on your model
- You will be assessed during your practical training
- There will be an online final written assessment

Your model
- You’ll need to provide a model for your practical in-person training so you can carry out the treatment with a trainer present
- Please ensure that your model has no contraindications that could stop them from having the piercing performed
- Your model should arrive and leave with you on the day of your in-person practical training

When will my kit(s) arrive?
- 3-5 working days from when you book your training
- You are only qualified to use your kit(s) once you have finished your Inverness piercing course and received your certificate
What should I wear to in-class training?
- Suitable attire for a salon (smart, professional but comfortable)
- Closed-toe, flat shoes
- Long hair should be tied up and all hair should be out of the face and tidy
What should I bring to training?
- You might want your kit close by during the online training module to have easy access to products
- You must bring your model to the in-class training
- You must bring your kit(s) to your in-class training
What time does training begin?
- All in-class course start times can be found on the confirmation email you will receive after booking
- Please be on time for this in-person training session as the class cannot start any later than the stated time
