What is LVL?

LVL is the original professional lash lift. It helps to give clients longer, thicker and more voluminous-looking lashes using their natural lash hairs and without the need for mascara or extensions. It is a quick and easy procedure that is performed by a trained and certified Nouveau Lashes LVL lash lift artist.

It’s a treatment that is suitable for all types of lashes, from short and straight to long. The effects of LVL make it an ideal option for clients looking for a low-maintenance yet stunning, transformative look. LVL treatments are also suitable for those with sensitive eyes or contact lens wearers.

How long does the LVL process take?

An LVL treatment takes on average 35 minutes. Once you have carried out a thorough consultation, the treatment is a five-step process.

Step 1: Bond

Selecting the correct shield size for the client’s lash length, type and desired outcome, lashes are bonded to the shield with LVL CeraLashBond.

Step 2: Lift

With the lashes bonded to the shield, the LVL CeraLashLift lifting balm is applied. This breaks down the disulphide bonds in the hair, allowing them to be manipulate into the desired lift.

Step 3: Fix

The LVL CeraLashLift System helps to cut down treatment steps and reduce processing times by 33% by combining the fix and tint steps of the lash lift. The LVL CeraLashFix -in-1 Volumising Fix) is mixed with the chosen shade of CeraLashTint, rebuilding the bonds in the hair to set them in shape whilst also adding the appearance of volume thanks to the tint.

Step 4: Balance

A ground-breaking step in lash lifting, the LVL CeraLashBalance (pH Reconstructor) is formulated with a vegan keratin alternative to help repair the cuticle and reduce the risk of over-processing.

Step 5: Moisturise

The treatment is finished off with LVL CeraLashRestore, a moisturising complex enriched with CeramideBio and panthenol to help maintain lash health. It also contains a clever film former, that creates an invisible coat around the lashes to help support the lash curl.

An LVL treatment has an RRP of £45.

Advanced artists can upskill to train in Lower LVL, a lash lift to help lengthen and define the bottom lashes. An LVL treatment with the add on of Lower LVL takes 40 – 50 minutes. The RRP for Lower LVL is £10 on top of your usual LVL price.

How long does LVL last?

The results of an LVL treatment can last up to eight weeks, providing clients follow the correct aftercare process. The treated lashes will grow out as part of the natural lash cycle. What’s the difference between LVL and other lash lifts

LVL is the original lash lift. It was actually the brand behind LVL, Nouveau Lashes, that invented the lash lift back in 2006. Since then, there have been many other lash lift systems created.

LVL treatments are carried out using the exclusive LVL products, including their breakthrough LVL CeraLashLift System. Nouveau Lashes created a range of professional products to help lash artists achieve the very best results whilst putting lash health first. Developed by their in-house product team, each formula is vegan-friendly, cares for the lashes and delivers a beautiful lift for every client.

LVL treatments also include a lash tint to really make the lashes pop, which isn’t always included as standard in a lash lift treatment.
