About me
My name is Tayla. I started my business at 25 when I decided that I wanted a career that I could enjoy and escape the corporate world. I love being artistic so this job allows me to do just that.
I love enhancing client's natural beauty with treatments such as LVL as it gives them confidence they didn’t know they had, and I love making people feel good about themselves on a daily basis.
I am a home-based business but this has not affected me at all. If anything, I feel like has benefited my life in so many ways: clients feel calmer, more relaxed and I get to have a better work life balance.

My key achievements
My key achievements would be being able to build my own business all by myself. This career has truly saved me in life and given me such a purpose that I lacked before. I have so much more confidence in myself both in my professional and personal life.
Why I chose Nouveau Lashes
I chose to train with Nouveau Lashes after experiencing poor lash lift training I had done locally. Nouveau Lashes has a great reputation which drew me in to train, and I knew it would be known to potential clients wanting the treatments.
My favourite pro product
My favourite pro product has to be the original LVL system and shields. With the correct knowledge and skill, you can achieve amazing results with these.
My favourite retail product
I am also a sucker for aftercare so I love the Nouveau Lashes Lash & Brow Conditioning Serum for my clients. I’ve had great feedback from my clients using this and their lashes growing even longer after each LVL.
Top treatment tip
My number one treatment tip is to always make sure the lashes are sitting nice and uniform on the shield, as this will determine which direction they point once you remove the shield. Lash application onto the shield is probably the most important step in my opinion.
Advice for starting in the beauty industry
My advice for anyone starting out in the beauty industry would be to just go for it. I did a complete career change from financial compliance to beauty and only two years down the line I have become a member of the Nouveau Lashes Pro Team. Anything is possible when you put your mind to it and work hard. My job doesn’t feel like work as I love it so much.
