About me

I’m Fiona, founder of Brow Game in Manchester. I started in 2018, originally training in lash extensions, but it was HD Brows that really clicked. I began in a small room in my parents’ house and grew Brow Game into a busy salon focused on HD Brows, brow lamination and LVL Lashes. 

Within my first six months with HD Brows, I progressed from Stylist to Pro Stylist to Master Stylist and then Elite Trainer, which probably tells you everything you need to know about how I work - ambitious, detail-focused and a bit obsessive about getting things right. 

Fun facts: I used to be a police officer before swapping handcuffs for wax sticks! Brow Game was originally called Beauty Sweet, and when I’m not in the salon you’ll usually find me at the stables with my horse, Rocky, and my dog, Herbie.

I’ve grown Brow Game from a room in my parents’ house into a busy, well-known salon with a loyal client base, including high-profile names. I became an HD Brows Elite Trainer, won Best Brow Artist at the National Beauty Awards in 2022, and was runner-up for Best Lash Artist in 2023. I’ve also been proud to judge Best Brow Artist at the UK Beauty Awards and to demonstrate at industry events. But more than any title, building a strong team and brand that clients genuinely trust is what matters most to me.

My number one treatment tip

Be a perfectionist and never let a client leave your chair unless you are genuinely 100% happy with the result and ready to self-combust with pride! If something isn’t quite right, own it, be honest, and fix it - that’s what builds real trust and loyalty.

Advice for starting in the beauty industry

Comparison really can be the thief of joy. Focus on your own journey, your own standards, and your own growth, because no two paths in this industry look the same.

Use your platform to encourage and lift up other women, not compete with them. You never stop learning, so invest in yourself, keep improving, and never think you’re done. Be kind, stay curious, and build genuine relationships. Your reputation is one of the most valuable things you’ll ever build.
