I’m Emily, I’m 20 and I began my brow and lash journey in my first year of college alongside studying for my A-Levels. It grew into something I couldn’t imagine, so at 18 I swapped out a Law degree for a full-time position in my very own salon and I haven’t looked back since.
When I’m not at work you’ll find me house shopping, crocheting, at Pilates or spending time with my partner and family.
Fun fact: I’m also a 200hr qualified Yoga teacher!
My biggest achievements to date are opening my salon, launching the academy, and being chosen to work with amazing brands such as Nouveau Lashes, HD Brows and Navy.
I chose HD Brows because of its renowned reputation of high standards, high spec training and products. Being able to offer and advertise HD Brows allows my clients to feel at ease before they even enter my workspace. It’s a brand and treatment they know, love and trust as much as I do.
I had already trained in lash lifting before I decided to convert to LVL, and I did so because I felt I lacked knowledge which was costing me results. As soon as I trained with Nouveau Lashes, my lash lift game became next level. The correct training and products changes everything, and I always recommend Nouveau Lashes to my students.
There are too many to choose! The things I couldn’t live without would be the HD Brows Pre-Cut Wax Strips, White Mapping Paste and Crème Wax
My all-time favorite retail product is the Nouveau Lashes Lash & Brow Conditioning Serum. Hands down the most beneficial aftercare product for your lash and brow lamination clients, and it keeps their results looking their best for longer.
One of my treatment tips is to use the HD Brows Brow Dye Diluter in your tint to give you more control over tinting post-lamination. This helps you avoid the colour developing too quickly and becoming too dark as it sometimes can after a lamination due to the hairs being more permeable as the cuticle has opened.
Don’t compare yourself to others. Take inspiration and motivation but don’t criticise yourself, you’re right where you’re supposed to be and good things take time.
