HD Brows have taken their bespoke approach to brows and translated it to brow lamination. Brow lamination is a viral trend for creating a fluffy, brushed up brow look, but it’s so much more than that. On this course, you will learn the classic lamination look, along with how to translate this technique for brow shape correction. From helping to create a totally new brow shape, to taming unruly areas or creating symmetry, get ready to unlock the full potential of brow lamination.

You will complete your first section of theory via the NouAcademy online interactive learning portal, while your final assessment and practical in-class learning will come later. Once both modules are completed, you will qualify successfully.

Course requirements

• This course is suitable for brow stylists of all skill levels
• Hair removal techniques are not taught on this course, so prior training in waxing and/or threading is strongly advised (these are taught on the HD Brows course)
• You must be over 18 to train with HD Brows

Online learning

• Training begins with online modules that can be completed in your own time
• You will receive a confirmation email from NouAcademy detailing your log in details for the online learning portal
• It is recommended that you use a laptop or desktop computer to complete the online course
• All online modules must be completed prior to practical training

In-person training

• You will run through the theory you have learned and go over techniques before conducting the treatment on your model
• You will be assessed during your practical training

Qualification certificate

• Upon completing your course, you will receive an email from NouAcademy with a link to download your certificate

After qualification

Health & safety procedures

Learning about key health and safety precautions is fundamental in a brow stylist’s training.

Consultation skills & contraindications

Bespoke brows begin with a thorough consultation. You'll learn key consultation skills so you can determine exactly what your client wants and how you can create that look. The course also covers the several types of contraindications which could affect the eligibility for your client to have their treatment.

Brow lamination techniques

You will learn how to break down the bonds of the hairs before reforming them into the desired position. This covers everything from creating on-trend, brushed up brows to corrective shaping methods.

Custom eyebrow tinting

The lamination process can lift the hair colour, so you’ll learn how to custom-blend a brow dye mix that creates the perfect shade and tone for your client.

Brow mapping

Brow lamination can drastically alter the brow shape and position. That’s why you’ll learn how to map out a new shape that is tailored to the client – not a brow stencil in sight. 

Tailoring and finishing

You’ll become a brow perfectionist, learning the top tips and tricks to take your treatment results to fresh new levels. 

Client aftercare advice

Aftercare is a brow lamination essential. You will learn how best to advise your clients on the appropriate aftercare of their brows at home with the use of HD Brows products.
